I was born in Park Slope Brooklyn, New York  to Polish immigrants. My dad, a priest in the Polish National Catholic Church, and mother, left Poland twenty years earlier. My early years were spent in Park Slope, Brooklyn. I was lucky enough to travel to Poland, France, Germany, Luxembourg, and down the eastern seaboard of America with my family. My favorite place to visit was Disney (still is). I sang at Church where I was an altar server. Kind of had no choice, my dad was the priest.

I was always creating skits with friends and playing out scenarios of different emotional moments at home. Sometimes stuff that you wouldn't really bring up in polite convo. Oops. The Sound of Music and Annie were the first two musicals that I would watch non-stop. High school is where I took my first steps on the stage in a real show and I was hooked.

I graduated high school and enrolled at UNC Charlotte as a Chemistry Major. After I got on campus I went to the Music Department, scheduled and had an audition and dropped chemistry like a bad habit. I didn't know what I was getting into.

After 4 crazy years and lots of shows and tons of choir performances I graduated with a degree in Music!! Next step was: "Time to make it on Broadway."

I moved back to New York studied more acting with some awesome teachers like Susan Batson and Bob McAndrew. I studied voice with the AMAZING Jeanette LoVettri (did I say amazing?). And Film, TV, and Stage work round NYC and Long Island. After a couple of years my Dad got sick and we had to consolidate the family so we moved down NC again to stay with my sister. I then moved back into my old house that I lived in while in college, weird kind of circle of traveling. I worked in technology retail for a bit trying to find my way then taught at a high school (totally not for me). After my dad died suddenly I started to reevaluate what I was doing.

I knew I loved Acting and Performing. This was my life and I have to live it the way I want to. When I interviewed for a position as an Instructor at Acting Out Studio I would have never thought it would be the place I was meant to be. I realized that after a while you have to let life lead you and swim with the current not against it all the time. A job where I teach what I love and have the chance to book Acting jobs and actually take them is the sweetest thing I have ever experienced.

Now I keep going to see what's on the next page of my book...
